Integrated with Mediapart's editorial work between 2019 and 2020, I spoke on the redesign of the mobile app that was the first Design project. This work with the Mobile team has resulted in a global harmonisation of visual identity: logotype lift, chromatic system, typographical uses, pictographics, social networks, illustrations...
The issue of harmonization and clarification between the newspaper and the Club was major. A clear answer was to distinguish these spaces by a typographic family dedicated to each space by the use of the typographic family Pensum andAtlas Grotsk for the Mediapart Club (subscriber space).
It was important to find a new typographic family to meet the many editorial needs. Family Pensum Display and Pro were adopted by the drafting.
On the other hand, it was important to make the Mediapart typographical signature more readable. Historically, it was composed with the Trajan Serif. While keeping the spirit of this drawing, the version Without serif has won.
