The literary podcast that gets contemporary authors talking about their books and their relationship to writing
The READ podcast is a literary format that gets contemporary authors talking about their books and their relationship to writing. Hosted by Alice de Brancion, it offers one interview per episode, one voice per voice, one book per book. One guest per show, a conversation lasting around an hour: the writing process, transmission, aesthetic choices, struggles. The podcast addresses various themes - desire, agriculture, urban planning, motherhood, addiction, independent publishing - based on a first novel or a recent book. Several episodes are produced in partnership with the Libraries of Paris and the bookseller L'ours et la vieux grille, where Alice offers recorded meetings around independent publishing. For season 2, the studio was asked to completely overhaul the visual identity of the podcast. The objective: to give the format a more assertive graphic presence, capable of being deployed on distribution platforms, social networks and print media. The angle chosen was to echo the intimacy of the interview while placing the podcast in a contemporary and unique approach. The logo, color palette and typography have been redesigned to provide greater visual coherence between episodes.
The identity was designed from the start in motion: animated intros and outros, transitions between sequences, kinetic graphic elements for social networks. A modular graphics system was built - episode visual templates, title cards, overlays - allowing rapid and consistent production with each release. The motion design gives the podcast a lively visual signature, which extends the energy of the words and anchors the brand in time. Thank you Alice for your trust.
